Photo Album Rooms are a great way to share photos and videos with your friends, and with Commet you can create albums right next to your existing group chats!

Compatibility

Photo Album Rooms are practically identical to a regular matrix chat room, just with an extra tag that tells Commet to display it as an album, instead of as a traditional chat timeline. This allows users of other clients to interact with the albums as just another chat room where media gets displayed as attachments in messages, so you can create an album in Commet without worrying if users of other clients will be left out.

Since photo albums are just another matrix chat room, all privacy and security features of Matrix (such as end to end encryption) are included!
